Privacy Policy

Privacy at a glance

What to Buy in China is a static informational website. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no checkout.

Your shopping list

The "My List" feature stores your saved items only in your own browser (localStorage). We never receive, see, or store your list. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics

We do not run analytics by default. If analytics is ever enabled, it will only load after you accept the consent banner, will never record search text, list contents, or personal details, and you can withdraw consent at any time via the link in the footer.

External links

Guides link to external shops, maps, and official pages. When you follow those links, the destination sites apply their own privacy policies.

Contact

Our contact channel is not published yet. Once it is, this page will explain what happens to messages you send.
